The route Via NH44 is an even and obstacle-free one. The journey is enjoyable with beautiful view of snow-capped mountains, rivers, and valleys. The route ahead is followed by the Swarghat belt too.

Kasol is also known as ‘Mini Israel’ due to the influence of Jewish population of the city. The location is in its peak form of beauty in the months from December to February when the mountains are covered with shining white snow. One can purchase few local items like pendant, handicraft items, semi-precious stones, from the flea market of village. The cuisine of the locality has an influence of Israeli flavors and thus food items like Pita Bread, Hummus, various dips, sauces, and many other Jewish varieties are savored in Kasol. One can have variety of food items to fill yourself up on the dhabas and restaurants available on journey towards Kasol.

The location is approximately 20 km away from Kasol, in the extreme end of River Parvati. The cliff also has some holy temples on the top along with hot water springs.

About a 15-minute drive from Kasol, one can reach Manikaran Gurudwara. It is one of the important pilgrimage locations for Hindus and Sikhs. There are also various other temples in the vicinity of Gurudwara.
